About the Chapter

The AGBell Chapter in Massachusetts was first incorporated in 2005. Parent Connection (a family-to-family network started in 1995) and Bell Kids (an AGB mentor program for 8-12 year olds) merged together in recognition of the greater need to advance relationships between professionals, families with deaf and hard of hearing children, adults with hearing loss who choose spoken language, and related organizations in Massachusetts.

Parent Connection is a network of families with children birth through high school. This group has existed for nearly 9 years and has had over 100 families participate. Newsletters, annual events and parent social are some of the many things offered to keep parents and children connected. For more information contact Joanne Travers at 978-312-1200.
